Ode to Mao… the cat

With Chocolate dipped paws

And a fierce Zorro mask,

what a princely figure you pose.

Prolonging my days with acrobatic comedy

and ridiculous Self-satisfaction,

you are owed a Fortune.

Do you remember the time…..? Oh, of course you do.

And then that other time…..? Hmmm, I guess so…

What about when…..? Yes I see…you were there.

Well we remember the time, and that other time,

and when….

And then we feel like you’re still here.
